Decrease in vandalism?

Since the gates have been fully operational and the back portion of the neighborhood has been fenced has there been a noticeable decrease in vandalism?

Earlier in the summer we had several acts of vandalism including mailbox smashing, dough-nuts in my lawn, etc. We've heard of much worse like screen room slashing, but recently it seem things have gotten better? What is the general consensus of the current state of things in Lake Talia?

I hope the vandalism has decreased. It is sad to move into such a nice community and be faced with issues like those mentioned. Has there been any new reports of vandalism recently?

Obviously the vandalism has only gotten worse recently. Several instances of graffiti a minor "tagging" on the front of the community and it is really bad on the back side of Phase 1 have been noted.

The back gate was smashed in by vehicles on several occasions, the latest being observed by LT residents and reported to police with a solid description of the individuals responsible (according to the grapevine).

Additionally we have our own version of a "Ghost Rider" only without the flaming head and he rides an ATV. He has been noted riding through the community by accessing the front area that is not fenced/gated and driving through yards and nearly clipping residents.

It should be noted that these are not the actions of LT residents or children, these have been proven to be the actions of neighboring community youth, if you notice any suspicious activity please contact the Pasco County Sherrif's Office.

With a community as active and dedicated it won't be long before we help the sheriff's office deal with this annoyance.
